On World Environment Day, Frivatti reinforces its commitment to conserving natural resources and its long-standing environmental responsibility. Proof of this commitment is the expansion of its Effluent Treatment Station (ETE), a significant investment in technology and sustainability that raises the company’s environmental preservation standards even higher.

Currently, the treatment unit occupies an area of approximately 7,000 m², operating 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday, with the capacity to treat up to 100.0 m³/h of liquid effluents. The system already includes static screens, an equalization tank, a biodigester, a primary physical flotation unit, and anaerobic, aerated, and facultative lagoons. This structure guarantees over 98% efficiency in the decomposition of organic matter, meeting the required environmental parameters.

With production growth, Frivatti Industrial understands that preserving the environment is a non-negotiable responsibility. Therefore, it is investing R$ 2.2 million in expanding the Effluent Treatment Station (ETE). An additional 500 m² will be constructed, including the installation of a tertiary-level Physical-Chemical Flotation system—technology capable of precisely removing phosphorus from the effluent and further improving the quality of the treated water. This investment also includes building a new discharge pipeline approximately 3.5 kilometers long, ensuring the release strictly complies with all environmental agency requirements. The new infrastructure is expected to be operational within the next 60 days.

The new system’s planned capacity will be 120.00 m³/h, operating continuously and increasing efficiency to over 99%, with total phosphorus levels below 1 mg/l. Tests have already shown even better results, reaching 0.54 mg/l. This means less impact on water bodies, directly contributing to biodiversity preservation and water quality.

On this World Environment Day, Frivatti reaffirms that growth and sustainability go hand in hand. The company remains committed to continuous improvement by adopting technologies and processes that ensure increasingly cleaner, safer operations aligned with the principles of environmental conservation. For Frivatti, caring for the environment is not just an obligation—it is a commitment to future generations.
